The Cabool Music Boosters is hosting its annual planning meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 15, in the Cabool Middle School music room/FEMA shelter.
“As we prepare for the upcoming school year, our organization is working to strengthen support for local student music programs while building stronger connections with community partners, organizations, businesses and supporters throughout the Cabool area,” said Stephanie Montgomery, president.
This meeting will include regular booster business, upcoming event planning, discussion of future fundraising and community engagement efforts, and opportunities for collaboration and partnership moving forward.
“We recognize that strong schools and student programs are supported by strong communities, and we appreciate the many individuals and organizations that help make that possible. Whether you are able to attend regularly or simply want to stay informed and connected, we would be honored to have you join us. You can also follow us on Facebook or check out our website to learn more and stay updated on the latest news and events.”
Music and performing arts programs, whether through instrumental music, singing, theater or performance opportunities, help students build confidence, discipline, creativity, teamwork, communication skills and a stronger sense of community involvement, said the organization.
