A Farmers market has launched at the community center at Roby, organizers said.

A project of the Roby Fire Department and Citizens Center of Northwest Texas, the market is held on Saturdays. It features baked goods, crafts, produce and items from local farms. Those providing services — ranging from farriers to landscaping — also are sought.

The Saturday dates are: June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25, Aug. 8 and 22; and Sept. 5 and Oct. 10. Hours are 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch are available for purchase from the fire department. Free educational information also will be provided.

The market is at 12248 Route 32.
