Between May 18 and 24, the Houston Police Department answered 184 calls for service and initiated 34 traffic stops, resulting in seven citations and 30 warnings.
- On May 18, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Street for a domestic incident in progress. Following an investigation, Judy Kimrey, 72, of Houston, and Ronnie Bell, 52, of Houston, were both arrested and cited for fourth-degree domestic assault.Â
- On May 22, officers arrested Daniel Crawford, 38, on a felony Texas County warrant for driving while intoxicated-persistent and driving while revoked. Crawford was transported to the Texas County Jail and held without bond.
- On May 22, officers responded to the 1400 block of South Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. During investigation, it was found that a 45-year-old female had entered the store after being previously trespassed and had stolen $48 in merchandise. Investigation is ongoing.Â
- On May 24, officers were dispatched to Chestnut Street for a domestic dispute. During investigation, it was found that a juvenile male had struck an 18-year-old female, causing injuries. Investigation is ongoing.Â
- On May 24, an officer conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 63. The officer made contact with Chad Cooper, 46, of Licking, and observed him to have signs of intoxication. Upon further investigation, Cooper was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated-drug condition.
