A Licking teenager was injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash about one mile north of Houston on U.S. 63.
Cpl. Justin Dedmon said a northbound 2015 Toyota Tacoma driven by a 77-year-old man from Bucyrus turned left into the path of a southbound 2023 Hyundai Elantra operated by the Licking driver.
The teen, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The Elantra was totaled. The Tacoma had minor damage.
The Houston Rural Fire Department and MSgt. Robert Vaughn assisted.
