An 18-year-old motorcyclist from Licking was seriously injured Sunday morning in a crash about two miles east of Success on Route 32.

Cpl. Jacob Sellars said the eastbound 2002 Honda motorcycle attempted to avoid an oncoming vehicle, lost control and the driver was ejected.

The teen, who was wearing a helmet, was flown to University Hospital in Columbia. The motorcycle had minor damage.

The patrol did not release the driver’s name.

The Roby Fire Department assisted.
