Leeann Wolfe, a Plato High School student who was part of the welding program at Houston Schools, welded a metal sign as a class project in memory of Pam Fletcher, a community member who died of cancer.

The sign was installed at the Citizens Center of Northwest Texas County in Roby.

“Brea Fletcher came to me because we are very close with the family,” Wolfe said, “and we wanted to do something nice for (Pam).”

Wolfe said BJ and Brea Fletcher helped her install the sign.
