A Houston sex offender was arrested Friday night at the Houston High School graduation at Tiger Fieldhouse.
Based on a report at the commencement ceremony, an officer approached Roger W. Romines, 66, who was sitting in the stands. Romines, who is not permitted on school property, was placed into custody at 7:33 p.m. for being within 500 feet of the school.
Romines, who lives on Route 17, was taken to the county jail and held.
Bond was set at $3,000 cash only.
