A three-vehicle accident Wednesday night injured four people near Routes 38 and 17 northwest of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Trooper Aaron Sigman said a northbound 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by a 44-year-old Bucyrus woman attempted to make a left turn and a northbound 2022 Chevrolet Malibu operated by a 39-year-old Success man struck it. The Malibu crossed the centerline and struck a southbound 2014 Hyundai Tucson driven by a 51-year-old Cabool woman at about 6:25 p.m.

The three drivers were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries. A 12-year-boy in the Malibu had moderate injuries and went to TCMH.

Everyone but the Bucyrus woman was wearing a seat belt. The Malibu was totaled, and the other two had moderate damage.

Assisting were the Houston Rural Fire Department and MSgt. Ryan Vaughan.
