Between May 25 and 31, the Houston Police Department answered 200 calls for service and initiated 53 traffic stops, resulting in 11 citations and 53 warnings.
- On May 25, Michael Murphy, 36, of Mountain View, was arrested and cited for driving while suspended.Â
- On May 26, Valarie Hatton, 31, of Houston, was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated.
- On May 27, officers responded to the 1400 block of South Sam Houston Boulevard for a theft. During investigation, it was found that Steven Caraveo, 32, of Houston, had stolen from the store on three occasions. Caraveo was arrested and charged with three counts of stealing under $750 by shoplifting.Â
- On May 29, officers were dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 63 and Holder Drive for a motor vehicle crash. Following investigation, it was found that a 2001 Toyota Camry failed to yield to a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox while turning east onto Holder Drive. Minor injuries were reported.
- On May 30, Ariana Wilhite, 29, of Rolla, was arrested and cited for driving while suspended.
- On May 31, Cheryl Edington, 64, of Houston, was cited for allowing an animal to run at large.Â
- On May 31, Sandra Thompson, 34, of Buelah, was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated and following too closely.
