A 49-year-old woman from Licking on a Harley Davidson trike was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in Douglas County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Troopers said a northbound 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by a 17-year-old Bradleyville girl made a left turn and struck the southbound trike at about 12:05 p.m. at Routes 5 and 14 in Ava.
The Texas County woman, who was not wearing a helmet, was transported by ambulance to Cox South in Springfield. The other driver had minor injuries and sought her own treatment. The trike was totaled. The Cobalt had moderate damage.
