The Houston Farmer’s Market is in the beginning stages of having a presence on the Internet.

The group of local growers, producers and crafts people who sell their goods each Friday from 7 a.m. to noon under the canopy at the Lone Star Plaza in downtown Houston will be represented online at www.thehoustonfarmersmarket.com.

The website is expected to feature regular updates about the availability of apples, baked goods, cider, goats milk soap, vegetables, sausage and other items sold at the market.

The market also has an email address customers can use to ask questions or receive information: shop@thehoustonfarmersmarket.com.
