Lee Edward “Eddie” Lewis, 75, of Cabool, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 11, 1936, in Texas County, son of Ora and Lola Rimel Lewis.
He began hauling milk at a early age, when milk cans were used, until advancing to the tank truck. He was known as “Gator” when talking on the CB radio on his milk route.
He gave his life to the Lord several years ago and attended Bethel Bible Church as long as his health permitted.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a baby sister; and his first wife, Jan.
Survivors include his wife, Jacquie of the home; two special friends, Bill and Patty Hamilton; and many other relatives and friends.
Services were Tuesday, Oct. 23, at Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home Chapel with Orval Gayer and Robert Stark officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Cabool.
