Sales taxes revenue collected in Texas County increased dramatically during the latest monthly distribution period, reports the Missouri Department of Revenue.
The tally for each of three half-cent sales tax totaled nearly $104,800, which was a jump of about 27 percent from the same period a year ago. For the year, $635,553 has been received. That’s nearly unchanged for the year.
