A Salem motorcyclist was injured Thursday afternoon when he struck a tree that had fallen across Highway 32 about four miles east of Licking after storms rumbled through the area.
Sgt. George Falterman said a 2003 Kawasaki Vulcan driven by David M. Fowler, 53, was involved in the mishap. Flower, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital with moderate injuries.
The motorcycle had moderate damage.
