Churchill Franklin “Frank” Hensley, 73, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.
He was born Dec. 25, 1938, in Hortshorn, son of Oliver James and Lottie Mae Stark Hensley. He and Nila Pangburg were married in 1955. She died in 2003.
He was employed at Wagner Electric and then, Chrysler Automotive, where he retired from.
He enjoyed his family as well as his church family at Grace Baptist Church. He loved his fellowship there.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Nila; two grandchildren; and five siblings, Otis Hensley, Oral Hensley, Ferdell Hensley, Thelma German and Eunice Porter.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Hensley of the home; three children, Julie Lansford of Rolla, June Collins of Union and Churchill Hensley II of Mapleton, N.D.; two step-daughters, Barbara Redmond of Lewisburg, Tenn., and Robin Blevins of Jefferson City; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Murel Hensley and Junior Hensley; and three sisters, Kathy Robb, Inice Williams and Opal Mosely.
Services were Monday, Sept. 24, at Grace Baptist Church in Summersville with the Rev. Joe Heiney officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home.
