The Houston High School JV football team remained undefeated in 2012 with a 34-6 victory Monday at Willow Springs.
The Tigers, who were previously winless since the 2007 season, are 3-0.
Malachi Sawyer, Tanner Smith and Stetson Welch each had rushing scores for Houston. Ethan Kelley had a 23-yard touchdown reception and returned a kickoff 70 yards for a score.
Ty Wilkins connected with Kelley in the first quarter. Anthony Goff made the extra point.
Sawyer had a two-yard scoring run in the second, and Smith scored from six yards out.
After Kelley’s special teams score in the fourth, Welch had a two-yard rushing score.
Sawyer and Zach Adey both had fumble recoveries for the Tigers. Jason Wink had a first-half interception.
