Donna Christeson Busse, 61, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield following a long illness.
She was born Aug. 2, 1951, in Tyrone, daughter of Clyde and Doris Coatney Christeson.
She grew up in the Elk Creek and Tyrone community and graduated from Cabool High School. She and George Busse were married June 18, 1976, in Tyrone.
She was saved at a young age.
She enjoyed going to garage sales, auctions and flea markets. Donna loved her family, especially her six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband, George of the home in Houston; two daughters, Angela Grogan of Ozark and Jennifer Stark of Atlantic, Iowa; six grandchildren; four brothers, Norman Christeson of Thornfield, Donnie Christeson of Solo, Dennis Christeson of Elk Creek and Cloyd Kelly of Abbeville, Alab.; three sisters, Loretta Brown of Cabool, Judy Jackson of West Plains and Janice Morton of Houston; several nieces and nephews; and two grand dogs.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Jett officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
