An Edgar Springs man was seriously injured Sunday after his small vehicle landed on its top north of Raymondville.
Troopers said a northbound 1995 Ford Escort driven by Randy E. Karnes, 47, ran off Highway 137 near Kirkman Road, partially ejecting the driver, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Karnes was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, according to Cpl. Scott Nelson and Sgt. George Falterman of the patrol.
Members of the Texas County Rescue Squad were called to the accident.
