A Licking man was seriously hurt Thursday night as he leaned out of a vehicle while it was moving and fell out, the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Sean R. Edwards, 21, was flown to Mercy Hospital from Kimble Road just north of Licking.
Tpr. S.J. Crewse said the northbound 2004 Dodge truck was driven by Julian R. Williams, 20, of Licking.
Law enforcement was called to secure the scene before medical personnel arrived.
