As a result of his involvement in two different incidents on two different dates last week, a Houston man was issued three citations by the Houston Police Department.

Charged on both occasions was Dustin R. Odom, 26, of 508 Ozark Street in Houston.

Odom was first charged with third degree domestic assault on April 11 after reportedly striking his 13-year-old stepson during an incident at their residence.

He got into trouble again in the wee hours of April 15 following a traffic stop around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Ozark Street in Houston, when he was ticketed for driving while intoxicated – drugs – and failing to properly signal before turning.

An officer made the stop after observing the silver Chrysler van Odom was driving traveling at a speed of about 10 miles per hour in a 20 MPH zone.

After making contact with Odom, the officer determined he had taken several prescription medications.
