Strong second halves propelled the Houston Middle School girls’ basketball teams to victories Tuesday night against Mountain View-Liberty.
Jaydin Ramsey scored 10 points for the seventh grade in a 24-11 victory. The Lady Tigers (5-2) broke a 5-all tie by outscoring Liberty 18-2 in the second and third quarters.
The eighth grade scored 14 fourth-quarter points to rally from a two-point deficit and pull away 26-18.
Autumn Walker led Houston (7-1) with nine points.
