Lou A. Gladden, 64, of Lee’s Summit, died Sunday, March 27, 2011.

She was born Jan. 5, 1947, in Houston, daughter of Garth Gladden and Lois Thomas.

She was a real estate agent with Reese & Nichols for 16 years. She loved eating BBQ and going to the casinos.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Gladden.

Survivors include her husband, Rich Bailey; three stepchildren, Wade Carpenter of Lenexa, Kan., Michelle Laydy of Buckner and Chris Bailey of Biloxi, Miss.; and eight step-grandchildren.

Memorial services were Thursday, March 31, at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, P.O. Box 2292, Shawnee Mission, Kan., 66201.
