Sondra Elaine Colborn, 68, of Cabool, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield.
She was born Aug. 24, 1942, in St. Louis, daughter of George and Glendolla Crawford Moise.
She was raised in Houston and graduated from Houston High School. She lived in the Houston and Cabool areas most of her life. She worked at the Brown Shoe Company for a number of years and later worked at and became store manager at the Dollar General Stores in Cabool and Mountain View.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, Dwayne Colborn.
Survivors include her mother, Glendolla Bennett; two children, Blaine Holder of Cabool and Bridgett Baney of Lexington, Tenn.; five grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carollene Coats and Marlene Branson; a brother, Mike Moise; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services were 1p.m, Friday, Oct. 8, at Elliott-Gentry-Carder Funeral Home with Dr. Howell Burkhead officiating. Burial was in the Cabool Cemetery.
