A Houston woman was injured Wednesday afternoon in a two-car accident in Houston.
Casey D. Locke, 24, of Mill St., was southbound on Sam Houston Boulevard when her 2003 Buick Century was struck by a 1997 Pontiac Montana van driven by Tim Medearis of Salem.
Medearis, 31, who was exiting the Walmart parking lot when the accident occurred, was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
Locke was put on a stretcher and transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
