Houston police cited several persons after discovering a party at a Houston commercial building on Saturday, officers said.
Houston police and state patrol officers arrived at the former Sutton’s Muffler location at Holder Drive and C.W. Harry Drive and found the building locked. They called the owner, Jimmy Sutton, who came to the scene and unlocked it. As officers entered the building, they found several individuals hiding under vehicles and some sitting on a couch at the southeast corner of the shop. A total of 13 people under age 21 were found.
Cited with minor in possession by consumption were: Colt K. Sutton, 18, of Cabool; Adam R. Fleming, 18, of 9075 Highway E; Alexander H. Kell, 17, of Raymondville; and Janet J. Siegler, 19, 777 W. Highway 17, Apt. 21. Two 16-year-old boys also were referred to the juvenile office.
Testing on seven others showed they were not drinking.
Officers were called Sunday evening to South Sam Houston Blvd. when a vehicle driven by Aaron T. Sydow of Mountain View ran off the roadway near Casey’s General Store.
