A Success woman sustained moderate injuries Thursday morning in a crash about five miles south of her hometown on Highway 17.
Tpr. Dale Pounds said Ruby D. Elliott, 67, was driving a northbound 1998 Buick Lesabre that ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
Elliott, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The car was totaled, Pounds said.
