The seventh grade girls basketball team was outscored 7-0 in the fourth quarter as Liberty rallied for a 13-9 victory Tuesday night at the Liberty Tournament.

Karissa Zalucky led Houston (1-8) with five points.

“It was a game we could have won,” Jordan said. “Liberty turned up the pressure in the fourth quarter, and we didn’t handle it well. We knew what to do. We prepared but didn’t execute. Way too many turnovers.”

On Monday, Mountain Grove raced ahead 10-1 in the first quarter and cruised to a 30-14 victory.

Kylee Elmore led the Lady Tigers with five points.
