Houston junior Kyle Poynter threw a complete-game shutout and had three hits to propel the Tigers to a 10-0 five-inning victory Thursday against Liberty.

Poynter gave up just two hits while striking out six and walking two. At the plate, he was 3-for-3 with a double, two runs and two RBIs.

David Weybright had a pair of hits and scored twice for the Tigers. Eli Smith was 1-for-2 with two runs. Chris Mooney, J.R. Knetzer and Kaleb Poynter had one hit apiece for Houston.
