The Animal Shelter of Texas County is giving back to the community with “SNIP,” a spay/neuter ID project.

Persons can enter to win a free spay or neuter and microchip coupon for their cat or dog paid by The Animal Shelter of Texas County. Part of TASTC’s mission is to reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs in Texas County, and this project is a huge step toward accomplishing this goal, organizers said. Persons can visit Pizza Hut in Houston and enter once a day to win free spay/neuter with a free microchip coupon to be used at the vet of your choice in Texas County.

The weekly winner will be announced each Friday morning on Pet Patrol on Big Country 99. Only entries received after the winner is announced until the following Friday will be used in each drawing.

This offer is available only to Texas County residents and can be used only at Texas County veterinary facilities.

TASTC expressed its appreciation to supporters for helping with this contest, including Pizza Hut, Big Country 99, Texas County vets, volunteers and supporters in Texas County.
