Houston police handled an accident and gave two parking-related citations during the past week.
Officers:
-Were called Dec. 11 to a wreck near Grand Avenue and Walnut Street. Police said a vehicle driven by Garold M. Stilley, 53, of Plato, was pulling from a parking spot on the west side of Grand Avenue, and Louis A. Brackett, 58, of 6900 Millstone, backed from the east side of Grand Avenue. The two struck each other in the left rear, police said.
-Cited Trevor D. Sigman, 16, of Cabool, with parking in a no parking zone at Houston Elementary School on Dec. 11.
-Cited Christine L. Strong, 20, of Bucyrus, with stealing under $150 at Houston Wal-Mart on Dec. 6. Police said taken were a $3 pair of socks and a six-pack of Conair head wraps valued at $2.
-Charged Brian K. Gatzert, 38, of 8941 Hayes Drive, with parking in a no parking zone at Houston Elementary School on Dec. 8.
