Construction work is slated for a two-week period at Dog’s Bluff access on the Big Piney River west of Houston, the Missouri Department of Conservation said.

Recent floods caused extensive damage to part of the driveway and parking lot. To repair the damage and allow for more parking, the existing lot will be expanded. The driveway close to the river will be decommissioned and re-vegetated. No changes are planned for the boat ramp.

Vehicle access will be limited during construction, but visitors are still welcome to swim, picnic, launch boats and fish.
