Families who home school will have a gathering from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Licking’s Deer Lick Park on the first Tuesday of each month.
Organizers say it is a day to get together to have fun, play games, swing, slide, visit and for parents to share tips and encouragement.
Everyone brings their own drinks.
On Tuesday, Aug. 5, there will be school items to give away, as well as book swap. There will be no sales.
Anyone who has unused school items can bring them.
