That was down about $18,541 from the same period a year ago. For the year, the total is $392,388, which is down $13,900 for the first five months of the year.

Two other half-cent taxes are earmarked for debt repayment on the county justice center and general operations. Each netted about $91,723. For the year, each one totals about $391,800. That’s down more than $13,000 on each from a year ago.
