The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the United Methodist Church in Cabool.

CBCO has issued a code yellow alert for Type A Negative, O Negative and O Positive blood. There is less than a two-day supply of these blood types on hospital shelves.

Each donor will receive a free T-shirt as part of CBCO’s ‘Salute A Veteran’ campaign. Participants may dedicate their donation to a current or former U.S. Armed Forces member. When donors bring in the address of their favorite soldier, they’ll be able to send them a note saying they donated blood on their behalf. Donors may also send a card to an anonymous soldier serving overseas.
