Houston senior Kirk Pierce has been selected to play in the seventh annual Sertoma Grin Iron Classic that features nearly 100 of southwest Missouri’s best high school football players.
The all-star game will be played Saturday, June 7, at Plaster Sports Complex on the Missouri State University complex.
The GIC has become a tradition for the region’s top football players, providing one final game for the best graduated seniors. The players and coaching staff are selected by the Southwest Missouri High School Football Coaches Assocation.
Pierce will play for the East team, which is coached by Cabool’s Vince McCrosky.
