Hermann Reutter, 76, son of Marie Reutter, was born May 11, 1931, in Germany. He died Jan. 26, 2008, at St. John’s Breech Regional Medical Center in Lebanon.

He grew up in Stammheim/Calw Germany. He attended German trade school before coming to America in 1951. He owned Sierra Manufacturing, a tool and die company in Addison, Ill., for many years. He later sold the business to Darusiz Wozniak. Mr. Reutter previously owned Hospital Health Care Systems and Specialty Tape and Label in Lyons, Ill.

He loved to fish and hunt, enjoyed playing soccer and hockey, coaching his son’s hockey teams.

He loved to dance, doing the tango, polka and ballroom and Spanish dancing. He loved to play pool, especially eight ball.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a grandson.

Surviving include his wife, Mary Ann Reutter of Bucyrus; four sons, Reny and Peter Reutter of Aurora, Ill., and Paul and Robert Reutter of Jacksonville, Ark.; one daughter, Veronica Martinez of Chicago, Ill.; and 16 grandchildren.

Memorial services were Jan. 28 at the Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Father Mat Rehrauer officiating.
