Norman Lee Edwards, 64, son of Floyd Ray Edwards and Ula G. Courtney Edwards Garman, was born April 3, 1943, at St. Louis. He died Dec. 10, 2007, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

He married Karen Quick Feb. 14, 1963. They had one son.

For most of his life, he was an apartment maintenance manager and electrician in St. Louis.

Mr. Edwards was saved at an early age. He loved to deer hunt, go camping at the river and do woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Ira J. and Nancy Elizabeth Edwards and Richards and Clara Courtney; his wife; and stepfather, Junior Garman.

Surviving are his mother of Mountain View Healthcare; son, Mark Phillip Turner of Frankford; special friend and companion, Wanda Barton and her family; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Dec. 15 at the Bradford Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Steelman officiating. Burial was in the Antioch Cemetery.
