A circuit court judge in St. Louis will consider an order that requires the Texas County prosecutor not to have contact with a Cabool man.

Circuit Judge Thomas J. Frawley was assigned to the case by the Missouri Supreme Court.

Forrest A. “Doc” Pugh of Cabool sought the order last week, according to court documents. Pugh filed a petition late last year that sought an examination of county government, including a review of a pay increase that went into effect Jan. 1 for Texas County Prosecutor Mike Anderson, who noted he would appeal Frawley’s order.

Circuit Judge Mary Sheffield in late June asked the Missouri attorney general’s office to review the matter.

Associate Circuit Judge Brad Ellsworth excused himself from the matter because of the appearance of conflict, as did Sheffield, according to court documents.

UPDATED at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday after a court official discovered a clerical error that indicated the order had been granted.
