The Houston Area Chamber of Commerce and University Extension this week encouraged participation in the Texas County Fair’s art and photography divisions.
Entries can be brought to the community building at the fairgrounds from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9. Judging is the following day, and the entries will be displayed throughout the fair. Organizers said there will be easels to display framed art. Categories range from drawings to various photography divisions, such as scenic and old buildings.
Entries can be picked up from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12.
