Golden Hills Trail Rides and Resort is sponsoring a trail ride Saturday and Sunday to benefit the Animal Shelter of Texas County.
Various options are available for the ride and camp.
A meal for the public is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the resort situated at Raymondville. The menu includes 8-ounce ribeye, baked potato, beans, salad, drink and dessert. The cost is $10 is advanced and $12 at the door.
