Ranier “Ray” Patrick, 31, son of Cathy Myers and Randy Patrick, was born April 30, 1975, at Jackson, Mich. He died April 12, 2007, near Salem.
Mr. Patrick was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his son, taking motorcycle rides, toying with his race cars and helping friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Joe Patrick; grandmother, Wanda Patrick; brother, Rilee Patrick; and stepsister, Georgia Nicole Myers.
Surviving are his son, Devon, of Willard; mother and stepfather, Cathy and Richard Myers of Licking; brothers, Randy Patrick of Brighton, Mich.; and brother through deeds, Roger Counts of Salem; three sisters, Desirea Counts and Amy Patrick of Salem and Lynne Walker of Napoleon, Mich.; grandparents, Edna and Russell Adams of Grass Lake, Mich., and Lollie Patrick of Tecumseh; two stepbrothers, David Myers of Canon City, Colo., and Dustin William of St. James; and friend, Crystal Chubb of Springfield.
Graveside services were April 17 at the Zion Cemetery with the Rev. Casey Reed officiating under the direction of Fox Funeral Home.
An honor guard was provided by the South Central Corrections Center at Licking.
