Joe Lee Yingling, 75, son of Jesse and Lillie Hacker Yingling, was born March 28, 1929, at Cogar, Okla. He died Jan. 14, 2005, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.A Licking area resident, he served in the Army from May 20, 1948, until his retirement June 30, 1970, as a staff sergeant.He enjoyed hunting, fishing and making molasses.He married Della Gale March 28, 2004.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Paula; siblings, Alma Arnold, Zella Mae Gentry, Dorthey Gentry, Alford Yingling, Harold Yingling and John Yingling.Surviving are his wife of the home; stepson, John Martinez; stepdaughter, Rosa Martinez; siblings, Darlene Brady, Barbara Boyd, Naomi Brady, Jerry Yingling and Raymond Yingling.Services were Jan. 18 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Velma Trout officiating. Burial was in the Licking Cemetery. “
