Helen Gertrude Paris, 98, was born Aug. 31, 1905, in Essen, Germany. She died Jan. 7, 2004, at Cedar Lake Health Care Center in West Bend, Wis. She married George Paris Aug. 15, 1924, in Chicago, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband August 1978; and her eldest son, Steve Paris, April 1958. Surviving are three children, Homer Paris of Harris Young, Ga., Milton Paris of Granada Hills, Calif., and Diana Risch of San Anselmo, Calif.; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were Jan. 12 at the Fox Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Carter officiating. Burial was in the Boone Creek Cemetery. “
