Frank Sperlazza, 71, son of Angelo and Marie Sperlazza, was born Jan. 5, 1930, at St. Louis. He died Feb. 26, 2001, at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston after an extensive illness. Surviving are his wife, Bettie, of the home; three sons, Lee of McMinnville, Tenn., Michael of Andover, Kan., and Steve of Houston; his sister, Marie Driskell of St. Louis; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. His body was donated to The School of Medicine University of Missouri-Columbia. A private memorial service was Feb. 26.”
