Six persons received minor injuries in a 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, crash south of Houston,  the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Six persons —including three children — were injured in a crash Wednesday morning about three miles south of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. 

Tpr. Stacy Crewse said a northbound 1997 GMC truck driven by Stacy A. Fowler, 49, of Houston, was waiting to make a left turn when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2004 Chevrolet Venture van operated by Eva R. Rowland, 37, of Houston. 

The drivers, along with passengers in the Rowland vehicle, were taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. They included: Donna L. Rowland, 69; Randi R. Rowland, 10; River K. Rowland, 6; and Talon R. Rowland, 1. 

Crewse said the vehicles had extensive damage. All were wearing seat belts or in safety seats.
