Billie Mae Shelley Miller, 82, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, at Texas County Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 24, 1936, in Bendavis, daughter of Walter and Alma Curtner Shelley. She and Donald Everrett Miller were married July 5, 1952.

She grew up in the Bendavis area and attended Murr School.

She was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Houston. She received Christ as her Savior at an early age and was later baptized.

She loved to play Bingo and spend time with her kids and grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; five sisters; and her husband, Donald Everrett Miller.

Survivors include a son, Lynn David Miller of Rolla; three daughters, Irell Joan Miller of Springfield, Carol Ann DeMoss of West Plains and Bessie Elaine Miller of Houston; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Dennis Shelley of Cabool; four sisters, Mickey Chronister and Patsy Martin of Cabool, Lorene Crewse of Graff and Barbara Reeves of Marietta, Okla.; and her companion of 26 years, Thomas McGuire.

Services were Friday, March 22, at Evans Funeral Home with Wesley Wallace and Pastor Mac McCully officiating. Burial was in Murr Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Murr Cemetery.
