Bear cub struck and killed south of Cabool, state patrol says

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a bear cub was struck recently and killed on Highway 181 south of Cabool.

“While not every wildlife encounter on the road can be avoided, adhering to speed limits, driving attentively and being prepared for wildlife crossing can significantly reduce collisions,” the patrol said a press release.
