Olivia Crites scored a career-high 10 points and Rhease Manier added nine as the Houston eighth-grade girls’ basketball team beat Mountain Grove 41-34 Tuesday night.

Katie Jo Chipps scored seven points and hit the game’s lone 3-pointer. Karlee Curtis added six points.

Houston (6-3) led 31-14 entering the fourth quarter.
