A log truck took down a utility pole on North Grand Avenue near the Texas County Justice Center at approximately 4 p.m. Friday.
Responding to the accident were the Houston Police Department, Houston City Fire Department and Houston Rural Fire Department at the time of writing.
By nearly 7 p.m., crews remained on scene. That portion of the street — near North Grand Avenue and Spruce Street — remains closed.
