A Cabool man was injured Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Business U.S. 60.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Daniel J. Smith, 43, was headed eastbound when the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu he was driving ran off the right side of the roadway, struck the ditch and came to rest on the railroad tracks.
Smith, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Ozark Medical Center, West Plains. He had moderate injuries. The vehicle was totaled.
The 4:08 p.m. wreck was two miles east of Mountain Grove.
